Learnings for adaptation from improved disaster management policies and planning

In partnership with Griffith University this project is reconceptualising the framing of climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction to identify possible modifications to existing policy and planning tools.

The research involves a comparative analysis of four case studies: 2010-11 Queensland floods, 2009 Victorian bushfires, 2011 Perth bushfires and the state-wide risk profiles.
