Spatial network analysis of multimodal urban transport systems (SNAMUTS): a comparison of Melbourne and Hamburg
Summary

To provide an analytic framework for assessing future scenarios of urban growth and transformation, of public transport and road infrastructure and service development, and of their reciprocal impact on regional accessibility; To put together a team of researchers and industry partners for an ARC Linkage grant application with the aim of testing, further refining and establishing the network analysis tool in the context of metropolitan and regional strategic planning throughout Australia.

To apply SNAMUTS to the metropolitan areas of Melbourne and Hamburg, a project on which the applicant collaborated with Edmund Horan and Dr Shamas Bajwa from SCECE.
